Tonya Avery is the deuteragonist of Son of the Mask. She's Tim Avery's wife.
Son of the Mask[]
Tonya was eager to have a baby while Tim wasn't, feeling that it was a big responsibility. One night when her husband (still wearing the mask) came home from the Halloween party, she and Tim had sex which resulted Tonya getting pregnant. Nine months later, she gave birth to Alvey who had the same powers as Loki, due to Tim wearing the Mask while he and Tonya were copulating.
In the midst of the film, the head of their mean nosey neighbour Betty gets turned into a big nose by Loki and she and her husband have to save Alvey from the God of Meschief. She is amazed by Tim using the powers of the mask to stand a chance. After Tim saves Alvey, Loki tried to destroy the family but Odin halted this. Tonya then watched as Tim stops Odin from criticizing his son and told them how family are to value each other. Tonya is touched when Tim uses their family as an example. She is pleased to watch Odin and Loki reconcile and leave for Asgard.
At the end, after the mask is gone and Betty is out of the way, she is pleased when Tim's new cartoon is a hit but tells him that he might want to add a new character. It was then revealed that she is pregnant with their second child.
