Ben Gothan is a character from The Mask: The Animated Series who only appeared in the season 3 episode, The Goofalotatots. He is the commissioner of the Edge City Police Department and who was one of the major city officials who got tormented by the Goofalotatots and The Mask for fun, without The Mask knowing that is part of Pretorius' plan of taking over Edge City.
Gothan was doing paperwork in his office about the Goofalotatots and The Mask covering Edge City Hall in toilet paper and talking to his assistant on the intercom. The Mask broke into his office, frightening the commissioner and angering him for his presence. The Mask preforms shadow puppets with the Goofalotatots throwing three sheep at Gothan. The Mask and Goofalotatots attack the police commissioner by shearing him along with the sheep, causing him to scream in pain.

- His appearance and position as police commissioner is a possible reference to the character, Commissioner James Gordon of the Gotham City Police Department from DC Comics' Batman. His last name, Gothan, is a possible reference to Batman's hometown, Gotham City.
