The Coco Bongo is a popular nightclub and famous landmark in Edge City. It first appeared in the The Mask film where it was owned by infamous mob boss, Niko, under the management of Dorian Tyrell, the film's antagonist. Tina Carlyle is the lead and popular singer for the place with a big band playing uptempo songs. After the defeat of Niko and Dorian Tina became the new owner.

It appears multiple times in the animated series as it is one of The Mask's favorite hangouts and used for many celebratory events for the city.

  • Coco Bongo is also the name of a nightclub in Mexico, with locations in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Punta Cana, which has "The Mask" themed celebrations, merchandise and decorations. There is an urban legend that actor Jim Carrey owns the club, but he is unaffiliated with it.
  • The Coco Bongo might be a reference to the Copacabana, a real nightclub in New York City that opened in the 1940s and also was owned and operated by mobsters for a long period of time.
  • The Coco Bongo has been destroyed three times in the animated series due to alternate timelines or future disasters, making The Mask devastated and sad and gives him the motivation to take down the perpetrator responsible.
